Recap

This month, I’ve mostly focused on drawing more comic pages and getting the first chapter of Laana Maji planned. I’ve finished the thumbnails and am now in the process of building up a page buffer before posting pages. The first chapter will be 22 pages long. The cover is posted to my Patreon, and pages will be uploaded as they’re completed before I start posting.

I finished building the website for Laana Maji and it’s my favorite layout yet. It’s actually how I originally wanted the Threads site to look, but I wasn’t knowledgeable enough at the time of building the Threads site to effectively put it together. Almost two years later, I’ve studied more and managed to pull off the ideal look. I put together a black variant to use for the Threads site and the “grave” version is for the Laana site.

What’s next

I have MetroCon coming up this week. After that, I’ll see if I can get into the other convention I was considering and then it’s back to regularly-scheduled comic updates. I don’t have a solid date for Laana‘s official launch, but in the spirit of the theme I’m considering late September or early October.
